Founded in 2008 NewUrbanJazz is hosted and produced by Bob Baldwin, which began as WJZZ (Radio-One) in Atlanta, and currently has stations in the South and Northeast.

Bob attended Geneva College in Beaver Falls, PA and received a degree in Business Administration with a Communications Minor. Prior to graduating, he began his career in radio as a intern with Frankie Crocker at WBLS in New York, while pursuing a career as a solo recording artist. He has recoded over a dozen CD’s throughout the life of his career and has enjoyed a robust career in radio programming, which included WJSJ Jacksonville, KJAZ Bermuda and WCLK Atlanta before launching Urban Jazz Lounge, which began as WJZZ (Radio-One) in 2008 in Atlanta, that has expanded to include stations in the South and Northeast.

As an Executive Producer, Baldwin has overseen the Brazilian-American Jazz Festival, The Croton Point Park Jazz Festival, The Wednesday Wind-Down Jazz Festival and the Trumpets Jazz Series.
